Brief history
There have been only three owners of the Caldwell House. The home was built around 1925 by C.P. Caldwell, who was elected Mayor of Irving in the late 1930s. The property was purchased from the Caldwell family in the 1980s by John and Carol Mason and remodeled as a beautiful residence. In 1996, it was bought by David and Kathy Fiegenschue and rezoned for their graphic design business.
A short history of the property was researched and written by Laura Woodworth-Ney, Ph.D.
The City of Irving placed a marker on the property in 2003 as part of the city's centennial celebration.
